These are standard messages and language used when discussing ASEF in various collaterals and media. This includes boilerplates, theme names, and taglines.

boilerplate is the standard text about ASEF that has been crafted carefully to convey what the organisation does. The contents of the boilerplate must remain standard throughout the organisation and may not be arbitrarily changed. Kindly ensure that the boilerplate you are using is correct and up-to-date by checking the Brand Manual website for the latest version of the boilerplate.

The motto has 2 applications: as a standalone image and with an annual reference.
Standalone motto
  • Use the standalone motto with an annual reference when the ASEF logo appears on its own; for example, on the ASEF stationery or programme brochures.
  • The recommended placement is on the lower right (with the ASEF logo on the upper left). On other collaterals, the logo can appear on one side and the motto on the reverse.
  • Ensure the motto appears on white or light-coloured backgrounds.
  • The motto requires adequate clear space on all sides in any design layout.
  • To ensure the motto is clearly recognisable and consistent, all parts of the tagline must never be altered and reproduced using the approved master artworks provided.
  • The size of the motto should always be smaller (10-20%) than the size of the ASEF logo.
